In Flanders Fields and other WW1 songs

These evocative songs reflect a nation’s journey through the Great War, from optimism to despair and ultimately grief. Poetry by the most famous war poets – Owen, Sassoon, McCrae and others – is set to poignant music accessible to singers of a beginner to intermediate standard. Premiered in Shrewsbury in 2015 and 2018 in ‘The Pity of War’ concert also featuring new work by Bob Chilcott. All songs available on request for SA/SAB: suitable for mixed or upper voices.
